Climb Mt. Rainier with Legendary Climber Ed Visteurs in 2007

RMI–Rainier Mountaineering, Inc. is leading an Expedition in the summer of 2007 to Mt. Rainier, led by the United States only 14, 8,000 meter peak climber Ed Viesturs.

Mt. Rainier sits at an elevation of 14, 410 feet and is the most extensively glaciated peak in the continental United States.

This event will be an all inclusive package which includes three nights lodging, meals on and off the mountain, a slide show by Ed Viesturs, equipment rentals, as well as a one day climbing school and two day ascent of 14,410’ Mount Rainier.

Each climb will be limited to 9 participants..

Ed Viesturs is known around the world for his extensive feats in mountaineering.  He has climbed the 14 highest mountains in the world, including Mt. Everest an unprecedented 5 times, all without the use of supplemental oxygen.  Ed has spent 12 years as a Mt. Rainier guide.

Also on this trip you will be climbing with another great climber–Peter Whittaker.  Peter has been climbing Mt. Rainier for over 30 years and has summitted this peak a total of 200 times previously.

Your cost for this special package through RMI is $3600 per person and will take place on either of the following two dates…July 31-Aug 4 or Aug. 14- Aug. 18.
