Doing Away with Two RSS Feeds
April 1, 2007
I have found it in the best interest of this site to do away with two RSS feeds that I have been featuring here for quite some time.
The All-Climbers Blog and the 70South.com RSS feed will no longer be featured here. This decision has come about because of two reasons–one pertaining to each site.
First 70South is sort of a niche site dedicated to Antarctic discovery and history. It has some great articles, but to myself, it doesn’t to much to the “Adventure” aspect that I like to keep here.
The All-Climbers Blog is really a great blog–but its slow updates have detracted myself away from this site. The weeks I have had this one up, a lot of times there is no update–that is the only drawback. Great articles…very informative…but definately not updated like it should be.
Both of these sites have been on here for quite some time, and by watching the traffic or “clicks” deriving from this site to theirs–they are just not drawing the traffic or the interest that you guys all deserve.
I am sorry for any problems that this may cause, but in keeping in the best interest of this site, I think it is time I look around and try to find something a little more worthwhile for your time. I hope you understand.
Thanks

Speaking of RSS feeds, I still am having problems with your RSS feeds! I have tried re-setting them, ect.. Thought you should know of these problems that I have been having! !
FYI: Not sure what you did but they ended up working today!
