Mountain Hardware’s Pack-A-Day Give Away
July 23, 2008
Mountain Hardware, one of the world’s leaders in outdoor recreational gear, is getting ready to unleash a great new contest! Mountain Hardware’s Pack-A-Day Give Away is just that. They will be giving away a new urban backpack each and every day through the month of August.
For those of us that love to venture in the outdoors and spend quite a bit of time hiking and backpacking, there really couldn’t be a better contest. We all know that the pack you carry could very well be one of the most essential pieces of equipment you can own. It could be the difference between comfort and sheer agony–especially on those longer ventures.
Mountain Hardware’s latest contest is simple enough. Each day, you just stop by their site and sign up here. This will automatically get your name in the hat for a fantastic new urban backpack. If you are lucky enough to get your name drawn as a winner, you will have your choice of what pack to bring home. They are offering a choice of the Paladan, Guardian, Sentinal, Defender, or their newest addition, the Natural 22. The Natural 22 won’t even be available to the general public until Spring of 2009. You could be one of the first to own what should become a classic pack.
This is the point where I have to add that I first heard about this contest through The Adventure Blog. The last time a contest was mentioned on The Adventure Blog, this one was for the SPOT Satellite Messenger System, I quickly ran over and signed up. I ended up winning the SPOT–one of four given away, which I just received in the mail–and another reader of The Adventure Blog won one, too. That makes two winners, out of the four SPOT’s given away, that came from The Adventure Blog. So a bit of advice, if you are planning on entering the Mountain Hardware Pack-A-Day Give Away–run over to The Adventure Blog, leave Kraig a comment on his contest post, then go sign-up. By my calculations, you should have a 50-50 chance and 15 packs could be given away to his readers. I know that probably isn’t possible, but I am going to bet on my theory once more and try to win me one of those packs. You should, too. I already left my comment on The Adventure Blog. Hopefully the good-luck streak will continue!
