A Photographic Journey–Images Of The North
August 15, 2008
GreatOutdoors.com is currently highlighting some images from adventurer and photographer Stefan Wackerhagen. Stefan Wackerhagen works as a hiking, canoeing, and dogsledding guide throughout the Yukon and Alaska.
Whenever I’m out, I have a camera with me. The Yukon offers so many extraordinary panoramas, its light shifts in such incredible ways, and its seasons change so fast and are so different that I always feel I might miss something if I’m stuck indoors.
Stefan Wackerhagen’s images are a breathtaking reflection of a landscape and wilderness that many people don’t ever get the chance to see. His landscapes, wildlife, and adventure photography are crisp, clear, and quite adventurous, as seen in the photo featured here. Stop by GreatOutdoors to see more photos from this unique photographer.
The image featured in this post is entitled “Winter Camp” and is ©Stefan Wackerhagen
Once you have visited the GreatOutdoors photo gallery, be sure to stop by and browse through Stefan Wacherhagen’s personal LONE TRAILS Photography website, where many of these images can be purchased in poster format for as little as $20. I already have my eyes on a couple of these images and can definitely attest that these would make a great addition to my office for inspiration and some simple dreaming. Nice work.
