Thanks for doing so much research on what the article above already states. I don't know what your arguing point is.

This is a rumor
Rumor aren’t based on exact facts.
And rumor can’t be trust.
I did some researched on both Bear Grylls and Les Stroud.
And i came up with a conclusion that probably make other viewers think that either one of them have died.
I checked both of their blogs and found out that their last posts were on September.
( this is my conclusion that might lead to the rumor )
Imagine:
A is Bear Grylls’ Fan.
B is Les Stroud’s Fan.
C is A’s friend and B’s friend
D is B’s friend and A’s friend
A: Hey C, Bear hasn’t been posting lately, any idea what might happened?
C: I don’t know. Perhaps something bad happened during filming one of his show?
A: You mean he did not managed to survives his survival shows?
C: Yeah, its possible on Steve Irwin, lets not forget he’s a dare devil.
The next day…
B: Hey D, Les Stroud hans’t been posing lately, any idea what might happened?
D: I don’t know. Perhaps something bad happened during filming one of his show?
B: You mean he met with an accident while filming?
D: Yeah thats what i think so too…
The following day…
D mets C.
D: Hey C. You know Les Stroud?
C: Umm, yeah.
D: He hasn’t been on his blog lately, i think he didn’t managed to survive.
C: What? Bear Grylls also hasn’t been on his blog lately too!
So, D and C started spreading out that Bear And Les didn’t managed to survive their shows.
But on the way of spreading, some people might changed the rumor to either one of them due to the fact that some of them dislikes each other.
Like said, this is based on my conclusion…
But, all i can say that THIS RUMOR IS NOT LIKELY TO BE TRUE! SO STOP SPREADING IT! AND MAKING THINGS WORST!

It's funny- I watch both Man v. Wild and Survivorman any chance I get and I hadn't heard these rumors. Both men do put themselves in some pretty dangerous situations, but then again both are well equipped to handle them (and Bear has that camera crew:))
