Backpacker Magazine is offering up another great contest on their site. This time it is for a Canon EOS Rebel Xsi Digital Camera. If you know anything at all about photography, particularly outdoor photography, then you would easily recognize the Rebel name. This camera has been a staple of outdoor photographers for the past 20 years or more.
Backpacker Magazine’s latest contest is for the newly revamped Rebel digital. it has all the great features you would expect, PLUS it could be yours for free. Just follow this link and sign-up for this great give-away.
There is a slight catch and one, I might add, that has given myself a problem. I thought for sure that I would have this thing won until I noticed that they are wanting you to answer a specific question in regards to your entry. They give you a photograph (taken with the Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital) and then expect for you to tell them where it was taken…hmmm. It is way harder than you might think. It would be different if they put up an iconic spot like Yosemite or th Grand Canyon, but NOooo..they couldn’t make this easy. Go check it out and see if you know where the photo was taken. Good luck!!

Hey, thanks for the tip. I’ve been a subscriber to Backpacker for years, but for some reason seldom think to visit their site. Backpacker is a great magazine for anyone who enjoys spending time in the outdoors, highly recommended.

The Backpacker Magazine site has really expanded in the last year. It has completely been revamped. They now offer daily blogs, trails, tips, etc. AND they have made the current issues of Backpacker magazine completely free online. That is great. Check out the Daily Dirt blog over there. Ted Alvarez, who writes the blog, really gets me to laughing sometimes–he has a great style. Thanks for stopping by Greg-
