The Alaska Experiment: New Discovery Channel Reality Series Looking For Participants

Discovery Channel, the network that brought you “The Alaska Experiment,” is currently casting its next Alaskan adventure. They’re looking for people who think they have what it takes to live and thrive in one of nature’s most brutal environments.
Discovery Channel’s newest series raises the bar for our adventurers by sending them on an epic journey through the wild. The challenge — if you dare to accept it — is to join a band of fellow explorers and journey through some of the harshest climates and roughest terrains in the world: the Alaskan wilderness.
Sound exhilarating? It will be! If you are ready to leave the monotony of your day-to-day life behind and push yourself to the limits, you can finally earn the right to say that you truly lived.
Be sure to include:
- Description of why you deserve to go on this journey
- Updated Photo’s (including past adventures)
- Optional: 2-3 minute video describing who you are and where your from. Explaining
why you are up for the challenge.
Travel to Alaska to be part of an epic quest and the ultimate test of courage. This amazing journey will test its participants in ways they never thought possible and, in the process, allow them to experience the raw beauty of nature and see the world like they never have before.

You bring up a good point. I have read that this series will be making a return to Discovery Channel for a second season. It seems to be getting quite popular. Discovery also has a few more shows that should be of interest coming out. I should have a full report on their new schedule up in a couple of days.
All of my life i have been looking for something…..Waiting and hoping that a perfect moment in time is going to happen. So it has and i had a little boy with my beuatiful girlfriend. Its was one of the best moments of my life until i heard about THE ALASKAN EXPERIMENT. This is truly the thing i have been waiting for. To test myself and all of my features, to guide my own way through actual life beyond the sanctity of the ways of today. A true test to push me beyond the beyond and into simple but unforgiving regularities of actual survival. I have been camping and hiking alot lately and most of my life but i think i am truly ready to experience this world and its sweet sometimes dreadfull reality. Please consider me in the next alaskan experiment it would mean so much to me and what i have been looking for the past 26 years. Thank you very much for giving me the chance to submit to this wonderfull experience.

I love all the survival shows on Discovery. I’ve been practicing survival skills all my life (taught to me by my grandfather).I would love to be on one of the survival shows. Please let me know what i have to do to be on one.Thank you very much
