The Adventure Blog Makes a Huge Announcement!
May 10, 2008
Many of my readers will recognize The Adventure Blog name. We both follow along on some of the bigger adventures the world has to offer. Through this mutual interest, we have come to know each other and each of us has featured many mentions of the other’s work. Many of you know him as “adventure junkie”, the name he rights his blog with. I know him simply as ‘Kraig.” We have bounced ideas, we have tried to piece together information and continuously, we have supported the others work since very early on.
Today, Kraig has made a very big and very modest announcement on his own behalf, something that I know he has struggled a bit with. Always looking for the right timing–
Many of you that have followed along and been a religious reader of Kraig’s site (as well as this one) will note that he has had a big interest in adventure racing for quite some time. He has covered many of these races on his site. Kraig, through his writing and working with the public has been given an opportunity that is quite rare in what we do. Today, (and I know all of you are awaiting for the big announcement, so I might just drag it out a bit more) Kraig has been able to turn his interest into a job. Not just any job though. Kraig has taken the helm as Media Director for PRIMAL QUEST! The World’s Greatest Adventure Race! With his love of adventure racing, and his great writing, I am sure he would have taken a spot with any adventure race company, if they had offered. Luckily, the world’s best made the first and only offer Kraig needed!
A Big ‘Ol CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Kraig. Way to find something you love, dedicate the long hours and work till it came true. You are an inspiration to many (whether you think so, or not) and I continue to support you throughout this new endeavor.
By the way, Kraig has noted that The Adventure Blog will continue on, he just may have to take a hiatus or two along the way. With Primal Quest, it is hard telling where Kraig will end up. This year it is Montana, but next year they are planning on going International. Stop by his site to read a bit more on this new adventure, as well as some new details on Primal Quest, itself. If that isn’t enough, go check out the Primal Quest site, where Kraig is currently posting reports. Be sure to congratulate him, and tell him I sent ya!
Once again, Very Cool, Kraig! Good Luck with the new workload!

Thanks for the well wishes Jason. They are very much appreciated. Your vote of confidence means a lot while I settle into this new role.
