Milwaukee’s Best Light
Seriously.
No, I’m serious!
When I have the hankering for a light macrobrew, and when I want to have beer on hand for people that don’t like my homebrew, I buy Milwaukee’s Best Light. It is a standard low flavor, high carbonation American beer offered by the Miller company with a very low price point.
It is fizzy and has some beer-like flavor reminiscent of my childhood when I would snitch a sip of my dad’s beer (sorry dad
). After the swallow it doesn’t leave much behind. It is perfect after mowing the lawn when the can is very cold. One of the biggest draws to Milwaukee’s Best Light is the little italicized writing under the volume on the side. Contains no additives or preservatives. There are some beers out there that will give me a raging headache after two. I don’t know if it is causation or just correlation, but beers that contain only the four main ingredients rarely effect me that way.
Considering what it is, a macrobrewed light beer, it is one that I repeatedly buy. The price point and the lack of preservatives make it an ideal buy for me. Give it a try!
Cheers!
