Wow, I really like walking through hardware stores and the like at the end of a season. You can find some amazing deals that way! Last night I found a new grill at one of the “big box” stores. For the last eight or nine years we’ve used our old grill year round, at least two or three times a week. The only time I don’t cook on it is when the temp is near or below zero degrees F.

It has four burners, an infrared rotisserie burner and came with the electric rotisserie attachment. The most important part of it all, there are two shelve, one with a burner on the sides. The perfect place to put the bottle or pint glass! Grilling is one of the activites that almost requires a beer in hand!

Not to mention putting the thing together. I got the first half assembled last night, only to discover the top was damaged beyond what I am willing to accept for a new grill. Back into the van it went. After a lot of waiting, they took it back and refunded my money. I went to another store and bought the same grill at the same price, but this one wasn’t bent and twisted.

Yes, Brew Dad had a new grill! Sadly, nothing in the fridge to grill though. Looks like a trip to the store!
