A couple of days ago Charile Papazian wrote about the RNC in town and reflected on some beers to try if the reader was in the area.

It’s worth taking note that the word “Republican” has the word “publican” embedded in it.  There’s no excuse for slacking off beer enjoyment during the Republican National Convention – there’s plenty of locally brewed beer in the area.

He mentioned a couple of the local breweries but failed to mention Surly! After I left a comment to make sure and try Surly if you were in town, he wrote it into the post yesterday. Now that is pretty cool, and I’m glad to see Summit made his list as well.
