Auburn’s security is for the dogs

Ask Jerraud Powers about what he remembers best about the game with Alabama, and you would think it would be that they eeked out a victory and being able to beat Nick Saban. But that’s not what he will say.
Powers was bitten–yes bitten–by a security dog that was in the end zone during the game. Powers was simply near the goal post/end line and his arm happened to be near the dog, and the pooch grabbed onto his hand. Powers at first didn’t realize what was going on, but quickly jerked his hand back when he saw his gloved fingers in between fido’s choppers.
Reports of the incident say the dog lunged at Powers, but when you see the video below, it really wasn’t any of the dog’s fault–it was the security who just sat there like bunch of idiots doing the “King of the Hill”…mmmm hmmmm….yep…..mmm-hmmm…uh huh…..mmm hmmm…yeah….yep…..
What’s worse about it is that—it was at home! If anything, you would again think that in this instance it would have been because Powers was on the opposing team–but alas, poetic justice is not to be ours. Auburn plans to review its security procedures. (Gee, I would have never made that connection, Mr. Obvious!!!)
