Ohio State football looking forward

Two years in a row the Buckeyes have made it to the promised land of the BCS National Championship game. Two years in a row Ohio State has returned with their tails in between their legs seeking answers. Many would think this would mean a downturn in the program and that the expectations should not be so much that they can do it again.
Think again.
The Buckeyes, with returning QB Todd Boeckman and RB Chris Wells, along with a slew of other returnees, also are inheriting the 11th best recruiting class in the nation and are still in the running for #1 QB prospect Terrelle Pryor. They have the best ranked recruiting class in the Big 10 and by the time it’s said and done, could be ranked in the top 5 in the nation.
Next year’s schedule though is a little more beefed up than 2007. They play on the road at Wisconsin, USC, Michigan St., and Illinois, and only have biggies at home with Michigan and Penn St. The USC game, played in September, will set the tone for the season with the Bucks.
Will the headlines after the 2008 National Championship game read “Third Time’s the Charm”? It’s entirely possible.
