There are dynasties. And then there are DYNASTIES. Much like the New York Yankees of the 20’s, the Chicago Bulls of the ’90s, the New England Patriots of the earyl 2000s, the Northwestern Wildcat Women’s Tennis team has made its mark on history in a big, big way. This time, NU won its tenth straight Big 10 (how ironic) team championship, breaking Indiana’s former record held of nine straight. And they did it with ease–which is scary.
The nation’s top ranked team is now focusing on the NCAA Championships in May. Under head coach , the Wildcats have posted a 128-6 record overall, including 34-0 in postseason play, against Big Ten opponents in her 10-year tenure. The Wildcats now have won 63-straight conference matches.
Like I said…there are dynasties, and then there are DYNASTIES. This program deserves to be in the latter for certain.
