Rodriguez still mum about Michigan football quarterback development

It’s nice to be able to joke, isn’t it? We love to be able to throw sarcasm around like a friendly game of catch, and when used correctly, humor is indeed the best form of medicine. But for the Michigan Wolverine faithful, joking about football is sometimes not the best method. But here stood Rich Rodriguez, questioned about the quarterback situation, and he had no distinct answers, only adding that the “over under for players who could touch the ball at quarterback is at 20.”
Isn’t that HILARIOUS, Maize and Blue fanatics?
The fact is that Steven Threet will more than likely be the starter, but with Rodriguez’ system, he will place the best quarterback for those needs. He noted that he has run the same system for 18 years and it has been the same for all quarterbacks, regardless of their strengths and weaknesses, so that could mean that a three way battle for the position, which is what he anticipates come fall camp, will determine who best fits that model.
Rodriguez went on to say that even if coach Lloyd Carr was there that he would have the same challenge after Chad Henne went on after his four years were up–well, that’s not exactly true, Rich, because Ryan Mallett could have been a great next step and he left when you came on board. So stop blaming the situation and joking about it and give Michigan fans what they deserve at this juncture: answers.
