Greetings! - The Daily Limit - Skinny Moose Media

    Greetings!

Posted by dukkillr on September 2, 2008

Welcome to the reincarnation of The Daily Limit.  For those of you who read me in my previous life, thanks for making the jump to Skinny Moose Media with me.

Speaking of Skinny Moose, I’d like to also take this opportunity to thank them for giving me a new home.  I found them because I became a regular reader of The Outdoor Smorgasboard.  For those of you who like bowfishing, big bucks, and biology, you should check it out.

Me?  I’m an attorney from Kansas who specializes in deer, ducks, and turkeys.  The idea is that most of my writing will cover hunting and whatever thoughts I can pass on.  These days I work towards bowhunting essentially all year with scouting, shed hunting, food plots, practicing, running, and finally, hunting.  In between those things I hunt most everything else found in the Midwest, particularly turkeys and waterfowl.  I try to make one out of town hunt a year, mostly for elk.  Stay tuned for an update on my recently completed caribou bowhunt and my upcoming DIY Wyoming pronghorn hunt.

I earned Biology and Chemistry degrees in undergrad so I sometimes cover science, particularly where it relates to outdoors activities.  In addition I can’t help but cover some politics and some law.  I expect to cover less of this type of material than my loyal readers are accustomed to in order to better match the Skinny Moose theme.  If you’re just dying to know more about my personal feelings on the United Nations decision not to sanction Russia due to the invasion of Georgia you’re probably in the wrong spot.  The blogosphere is full of raging ideologues with only cursory knowledge of their topic… I don’t need to add to that.

Finally, at it’s apex, The Daily Limit was the most interesting because of the contribution from regular readers.  Don’t be afraid to weigh in, either by email, blog, comment or IM.  Regardless of what your opinion is, I welcome feedback.

I hope you check back in.
