Where would you like to hunt?

For the last few years, I have really become infatuated with hunting White-tailed deer. I have hunted whitetails in Texas and Indiana, and I am currently preparing for an archery hunt in Nebraska this year with IMB Outfitters. It wasn’t that many years ago that I could not bring myself to watch a whitetail hunting show on TV, and now I am addicted. I think a lot of it comes from hunting Coues whitetail deer here in Arizona on a regular basis, and the fact that it presents a new challenge and learning opportunity. However, I know other hunters that are still dis-interested or would prefer to hunt other game species.
With that in mind, I offer this small survey: Click Here to take survey
I will post the results in a few days. Enjoy!

I am kind-of the opposite. After deer hunting for the last 20 years starting at the age of 16, I have become
dis-enchanted with deer hunting. I probably saw more deer cumlatively last year than ever, killed a nice buck with a rifle, had several opportunities with a bow. Yet my interest is waning. For what exact reason, I do not know. Several I think are involved.
People told me for years that if started turkey hunting, I wouldn’t like deer hunting as much >> I guess they were right.

drchoate, that’s a hard decision on that survey. I’ve mule deer hunted, elk hunted, and done a lot of white-tailed deer hunts, but I think elk comes out on top. That being said, an Alaskan moose would be nice. Keep up the good work on the blog!
