I have watched the disease take two of my fraternity brothers, both whom loved the outdoors. I will always treasure the times we spent together in the Inland Northwest forests and mountains. You are certainly doing a great thing for your son, giving him an appreciation for the outdoors, rather than making him a "shut in". I look forward to future updates ond more columns from you.
