Hey Guys. I’m a 30 year old woman who is a “newby” to the woods and loving it. I live in Reno, Nevada with my 3 awesome boys, maybe I should say 4 boys if I include my husband. My guys are 10 yrs, 5 yrs, and 9 months. My 5 year old has Cystic Fibrosis( a deabilitating respiratory disease) but he doesn’t let that slow him down from his hunting and fishing obsession. I have been shooting a bow for about 3 years now and loving it. I love just about anything outdoors ( as long as I have indoor plumbing at hand), I am still a girly girl when it comes to that sort of thing. I grew up in California and met a Virginia guy that introduced me to hunting and fishing. Now its on! Everyone knows that women can do things just as good as the guys. When we’re not out enjoying wildlife, I also love to play the piano, mountain bike, snow ski, and go to the beach, preferably in Mexico. You can also catch me when football season starts watching the Virginia Tech Hokies. I just love to have a good time. I don’t take life for granted. Our motto around here is “Life is too short to be sweating the small things.” We try to make things for our boys as positive and as fun as possible, life is fragile and is a gift so get out there and enjoy everything that is right at our fingertips!
