Hutchinson Soda Bottles
The Hutchinson Soda Water bottle, called “hutch” for short, was in use around 1880-1910. The bottles have the unique shape shown in this photo. This style supported use of the patented Hutchinson spring-loaded internal stopper. The remains of these stoppers are often found in the bottles. Many collectors will try to find all hutch bottles in their state, while others collect pictorial and colored hutch bottles.
