Wake Up Outdoors Announces New Treestand
Wake Up Outdoors of Gainesville, Georgia is introducing the Tree Glider – not just another treestand. Born out of a football knee injury to the inventor’s son, the Tree Glider climbs the tree, drags game back to the tree, lifts deer or hogs up for field dressing or even higher for loading into ATVs, golf carts or pickup trucks from a handheld remote control. “We realized just how many aging hunters are either considering giving up deer hunting or have already done so because they don’t want to climb a ladder or ratchet themselves up a tree,” said inventor Ed Fickey, President of Wake Up Outdoors. “When my son, and co-inventor, Wake, was injured playing college football we thought he may miss deer season, until the Tree Glider.” The Tree Glider is currently available in two all steel models; one is specifically designed to accommodate wheeled sportsmen. The Tree Glider can either be wheeled into the woods or can ride in the receiver hitch of your ATV or pickup truck. Additional accessories include a seat warmer, gun rack, camouflage screen, and fan.
Wake Up Outdoors will be displaying the new deer stand at several trade shows across the Southeast this year. Brochures and a video are available upon request. The retail price of the stand is $1,895.00 and a special “Service to America” coupon is available to any past or present member of the US military, police or fire departments through the company. I appreciate your picking up this story. Just to pass on there is a $100 “service to America” coupon available when the stand is purchased by or for a current or past member of the US armed forces, police/sheriff or fire departments. The website is still under construction but we hope we can get some video up soon.
