Glendale, Arizona - Cabela’s in Glendale will host a Hunters Feeding the Hungry food drive on Sunday, December 7, 2008. Hunters Feeding the Hungry is an organization that partners with Arizona food banks to supply surplus game meat to the needy.

Donations of wild game meat and fish will be accepted by Hunters Feeding the Hungry who will in-turn, feed hungry families throughout the holiday season and beyond. All donors can enter their name into the drawing for a Cabela’s holiday gift basket. Hunters Feeding the Hungry request that the donated game meat be commercially processed. They will also accept canned food items and frozen fish of all types (fish do not have to be commercially processed).

The Hunters Feeding the Hungry refrigerated truck will be at Cabela’s from 9:00am until 5:00 p.m. on December 7. Clear out your freezer for this year’s harvest while helping the less fortunate.
