Heritage Partners Initiative Announced
The “Heritage Partners” initiative will build upon the successful “Treasures & Traditions” on-line auction partnership forged by GunBroker.com and the Hunting Heritage Trust in 2007. The program will provide non-profit partners with free access to GunBroker.com’s vast on-line marketplace of some 2.5 million unique visitors per month. The non-profit partners will be invited to list donated goods and services on GunBroker.com during certain periods of the year and will be provided with listing assistance at no cost.
“Over the past several years, GunBroker.com has been proud to provide free promotional or on-line auction services to the NRA, NSSF, National Wild Turkey Federation, Youth Shooting Sports Alliance, USA Shooting and others and we are very pleased to announce this expansion of our pro-bono efforts,” commented Steve Urvan, GunBroker.com founder and CEO. “GunBroker.com has enjoyed extraordinary growth and acceptance within the hunting and shooting sports community and we welcome this opportunity to give back to the non-profits that are so important to the future of our hunting and shooting sports heritage,” Urvan said.
“Heritage Partners” will not only be provided with access to the huge GunBroker.com marketplace, but their auction items will also be featured as part of the proven “Treasures & Traditions” auction on the GunBroker.com home page.
“The “Treasures & Traditions” auction site on GunBroker.com’s home page has been a tremendous opportunity for the Hunting Heritage Trust and we welcome this opportunity to share the wealth of the GunBroker.com marketplace with our fellow non-profits,” commented Bob Delfay, President of the Hunting Heritage Trust. “We believe the ‘Treasures & Traditions” site has developed significant brand awareness over the past 18 months that will prove as effective for the new “Heritage Partners” as it has for the Hunting Heritage Trust. In addition, we are happy to assist “Heritage Partners” with listing logistics and strategy, if requested,” Delfay said.
Discussions have already begun with a number of prospective “Heritage Partners”, according to Delfay. For additional information, contact Delfay at rdelfay@earthlink.net.
