The forecast did not look promising for the Rinehart R100 2-day event scheduled at Deerassic Park this past weekend. Saturday morning started off with thunderstorms passing through the area in the early morning but clearing for late morning and early afternoon. The skies threatened of more rain, but they held up throughout the remainder of the shoot for Saturday. Turn out was high even with the weather forecast broadcasting a rainy day. Sunday appeared to have a larger turnout, and without the rain threatening the shooters, the park had another hit with the kids that attended in hopes of shooting the alien, jaws and so much more! Complaints were made however from the competitive shooters who attended the course. Being the last R100 of the season they complained that the crews quickly threw up the targets on the grounds and more effort could be placed in that area for next year. The Deerassic Park Education Center has confirmed that more supervision will be made next year with the set-up crews of the R100 and the course will vastly be improved. Remarks on the Deerassic Park grounds and facilities were nothing short of amazing with what was available to the shooters and campers. Next year, with more emphasis on target placement and having more favorable weather conditions, the Rinehart R100 should be another family and competitve shooting event you will not want to miss!

Three sisters from Mount Dora, Florida traveled sixteen hours by car to the Deerassic Classic in Cambridge, Ohio with cargo that was sure to make any outdoor woman sigh with relief.

Attending the Deerassic Classic for their first year, the girls did not know what the outdoor expo had in store for them. Pulling a trailer filled with camo clothes for women and children, the girls had no clue how their idea of only four years was about to explode on the event grounds.

Angela, Darbie and Amanda, female hunters just like you and I, have found themselves hunting duck, hog, turkey and deer over the past five to ten years. Finally becoming exhausted in having to wear mens and boys camo clothes, they decided to change how the hunting industry appealed to the women of the sport. They set out to bring forth something new…..something NEEDED.

Women in the industry and the ladies living their normal everyday lives and hunting in their spare time, also quietly had the same complaint and frustration . But thanks to these ladies, they finally have a place to go and pick up gear styled and fitted with her in mind.

From their new camo pattern in Realtree Ap to Kings Mountain Shadow for their loungewear line, these girls have everything the outdoor woman and hunting enthusiast has wished for. She now can go to the HMC website and purchase camo purses, belts, loungewear and insulated and noninsulated camo attire for the hunt. These ingenious ladies have even provided zippers in their overalls so the ladies can take a quick restroom break without having to totally strip down in the woods…. like we have all had to do so uncomfortably in the past!

Their official slogan “Look Good Killin’ It” is printed with pride across many of their most popular selling shirts and other items. Finally we all can look good, feel good and harvest our animals of choice and for once do it in comfort and style.

The ladies were a huge success thanks to Deerassic Classics’ Jerry Snapp seeking them out to attend. Being a poineer in his own right, Jerry jumped at the chance to get the ladies involved knowing the demand and interest was growing in the industry.

The girls had one of the most crowded stands, and with their camo line appealing to the growing number of ladies getting involved in hunting and the outdoors is sure to continue to grow in popularity.
