I enjoy reading about young people getting involved in hunting and it’s even better when they reach out to others to join the ranks. I was pretty excited about Next Generation this new show Bass Pro is sponsoring and even did an earlier story about it. Real Tree Journal has a post by Brandon Wikman Next Generation Pro Staff about a hunt he did in Buffalo County Wisconsin.
It’s a great story and anyone that has spent much time in a hunting camp has probably experienced a similar situation. Scent control is paramount concern if you want a crack at a big boy. Well it seems that one of the gentleman in camp decided to fry up some stinky sausage and beans for breakfast.
Brandon and his cameraman Chesson escape the stink and Brandon takes a nice Buck. Check out his entry in the journal and you’ll see that this young man puts in the time to get his trophy. Next Generation is a great show and your kids or grandkids will like it. Heck some of us older kids like it as well.
