Big Bucks and Gator eating deer got Mike’s Attention
December 11, 2006
Mike Hanback’s over at Big Buck Zone is wondering about a gator eating deer who’s photos are circling the net.

Photos are free, public domain and available to the public.
Credit photos to Terri Jenkins, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The gator was photographed by a Fish & Wildlife employee back in 2004. It’s funny how things like this take on a life of their own and the story gets bigger and better each time. I found a link to the original press release so check it out and next time you get this email you’ll know the story behind it.
As far as the 2 big bucks go the rumor is they came from a high fence ranch in Iowa called Timberghost. I’ve seen a much larger photo of the truck and you can see what appears to be the reflection of their sign in the back window.

Moose Droppings is a place that chronicles my journey, I’ll explore new places and ideas I’ll learn new things and I’ll teach the things I’ve learned to others. Join me on the adventure and hopefully it will help you in your outdoor endeavors.

Thanks for the clarification and update. Great.
