Wisconsin Hunter had Multiple Stab Wounds as well as a Gun Shot
January 17, 2007
James Nichols has been charged in connection with the death of Cha Vang who was hunting on public hunting grounds in Wisconsin.
Nichols appeared Tuesday in Marinette County Court, charged with one count each of first-degree intentional homicide, being a felon in possession of a firearm and concealing a corpse with intent to conceal a crime.
Until the entire case is laid out we shouldn’t jump to any conclusions but one thing is clear as a convicted felon Nichols shouldn’t have even been hunting with a firearm. His story has changed many times but in the stories he has told authorities he has admitted to being in possession of a firearm.
This story brings back up the incident where a Hmong hunter killed 6 hunters who confronted him after he trespassed on to private property. In both of these cases we are dealing with individuals who have made a decision to disregard the laws while hunting. Although race may play a part in both these tragic situations it shows that evil can reside in the heart of man no matter what the race.
