Dog Food Recall
March 23, 2007
For some folks their best hunting partner is their dog and right now your partner could be at risk. There has been a significant recall of MENU dog food and cat food (I hate cats but I guess I should mention it for any cat lovers that may read my blog) that is blamed in the deaths of a number of pets. A New York lab has discovered aminopterin a substance that is used most commonly in this country as a cancer drug but is used as a rat poison in other parts of the world. Criminal tainting is not suspected at this time but rather contaminated wheat from China is what is suspected. The recall has been expanded so even if you checked earlier to make sure your pets food was not included you ought to check back again.

Moose Droppings is a place that chronicles my journey, I’ll explore new places and ideas I’ll learn new things and I’ll teach the things I’ve learned to others. Join me on the adventure and hopefully it will help you in your outdoor endeavors.
