Just like any other medical or disability that had such a significant impact on the situation would play prominent in the story. I understand fully what you are saying but I think it’s a bit of semantics. I would point out that I do find it strange that you refer to him as a “boy” when he is clearly a young adult. Lets not lose the important part of this story where a young man with a lot of odds against him was found after 4 days in a remote wilderness area by a team of folks willing to go out and look for him. My hat is off to all those who went out to search and help. Does he have a normal I.Q. besides his autism? A young man with his stunning good looks is very highly valued in this world. If Jacob has a normal I.Q., I urge his parents to find the best autism expert in the country to rid him of this handicap so he can be a successful and useful citizen. Financial concerns should not be a problem, as there are a lot of organizations that are willing to help such kids. Social workers are a great resource in this area. Best of Luck to master Jacob.
