Sad News Out of The Mountains of North Carolina

According to numerous news outlets authorities have confirmed the unidentified body is that of Irene Bryant one of the missing hikers. Her body was discovered in an area of Pisgah National Forest in close proximity to the Bryant’s parked car. This missing persons case has now turned into a murder investigation. As I reported earlier on the day the Bryant’s went missing there was a brief 911 call from their cell phone that was dropped. The next day, October 22, the Bryant’s ATM card was used just over the border in Tennessee to withdraw $300 from their account. There is a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of Irene Bryant and the disappearance of her husband Jon.
