New Theme Finds Its Way to Skinny Moose Media

Update 3/7/07: Well I went ahead and changed the theme. I felt the other one I switched it to was in fact too dark. My goal was to get a professional look and be inviting. I thought the other one looked fine but it was just still too dark for my own personal taste. I want to be happy with what we decide to use for a template and layout.

Here is the difference with this one on the layout. All the post content will stay to the left while the Blog and Blogger list remains on the right-hand side. I feel this will be better for navigation and an overall better layout for our plans here at Skinny Moose Media. Thanks for the cooperation and I feel we will settle with this new theme. Feel free to voice your opinion on the new look.

Well, we felt it was about time to experiment with a new look and feel to our home page. We decided to go a little darker but keep the content within each of our posts backed with a clean white page to keep things looking fresh. Our basic layout is pretty much the same as the previous look we had. We have all of our blogs listed down the left-hand side nicely categorized by topic. Down the right-hand side we have the names of each of our bloggers. If you click on their name it will take you to a little bio page where you can learn more about them and where they blog. Some even have nice photos of themselves.

In the upper left we have our simple navigational links to get to other parts of Skinny Moose.

We hope you enjoy the new look.

Skinny Moose Media just added our 18th blog to the Network. We are happy to announce Stan Fleming of Maine will be blogging about Acadia National Park and the Downeast Region of Maine. I am from this area so it sure hits home for me. Acadia National Park is the #1 most visited park in the world. Head over to his blog and say hi.

My name is Stan Fleming and I have had a long time love of Maine and in particular the Downeast Region (to me that is Brunswick to Lubec). In the early to mid-90s my son and I started www.acadiavacations.com in an effort to spread the word about the beauty of Downeast Maine. This Blog is an extension of that effort – I encourage you to join in the fun. The more the merrier!
