Desert Rat Does Interviews; Community Award

by Steve Remington

August 21, 2007

Skinny Moose Media blogger Marshall MacFarlane of Desert Rat has been busy lately. He has been able to interview a couple people and blog about it.

The first interview was with Rick Forrest, the Founder of Sonoran Bowhunting Products, Inc.

Marshall’s last interview was with Ben Brochu, Unit 37B Wildlife Manager out in Arizona.

So I would actually like to take this opportunity to award Marshall with the Community Bloggers Award. This is a new thing we are doing here at Skinny Moose, and for those who make that extra step and get out into the community, do interviews, cover events, etc… and blog about it are eligible for the Community Bloggers Award. Marshall has the option to place this badge on his blog somewhere with a link back.

Community Blogger Award

Congrats Desert Rat!!

    Thanks!

I’ll ask my webmaster to look into that :-)

I saw both those interviews and thought they were great. It’s so nice to see outdoor bloggers writing about their communities and the good things that are happening in them.

    Congratulations on your award Marshall.

The award is a well-deserved recognition of good blog writing. So you have your own webmaster Desert Rat? How much is Skinny Moose paying you anyway?

I agree that the award to Desert Rat is very well deserved. He is definitely doing very quality work and raising the bar for quality blogs. His work will only help raise awareness and reputability of bloggers! Great work!

Ron – It just so happens that my “webmaster” is the same guy that keeps suggesting I embed little icons, badges and trinkets on my blogsite, knowing full well that I haven’t a clue regarding how to do it myself :-)

Thanks everyone, for the kind words.

Got something to say?
