Another Change to the Skinny Moose Main Site

Well it was an adventure and a little bit of an experiment to see what we could do with the home page at Skinny Moose. We took a month off to test it out and we transformed the site into a Fox News type site, linking to news stories both inside and outside of our Network. After a month we did assess that it took way too much of our time and a lot of commitment to keep up with the news. I bow to those who can continue to post the news day in and day out and link to articles all over the web. People that come to mind are those like Drudge Report. It’s an entire business in and of itself. We didn’t want to get off target and lose focus of the fact that we are a blog network. Read more

Finally, U.S. Supreme Court Says 2nd Amendment Constitutional And Individual

In a 5-4 decision by the U.S. Supreme Court, the Second Amendment was declared constitutional and guarantees an individual the right to keep and bear arms. In what some are calling the greatest decision by the Court in a decade or maybe even 70 years, I believe this is perhaps the grandest moment in American history, defining once and for all the Second Amendment.

First let me apologize for not getting something out on this sooner, as most of you know Heller vs. District of Columbia is something I have followed for a long time and has been a bit of a passion for me. Read more

In the volunteer role, Waddell becomes the official spokesman for the annual commemoration’s key message: Conservation succeeds only because of America’s 34 million hunters and anglers.
