I am a sports fan by birth and a sports writer by choice. From the first day I could walk I was thinking sports and now at 36 I am writing about it. Yes, it is a dream come true and I know I don’t have a job; I have a hobby that makes money.

After a brief stint as a political consultant my now 6-year old needed a baby sitter and I needed a career change. So, I ended my political career started writing for a local paper and bingo I was a sports writer. That was back in 2001. Since that bold move I have grown my clientele list to include the likes of CBS Sports and the Dayton Daily News.

I look at sports as an escape from life therefore I’ll leave the off field sagas to other blogs. This is a sports site where the talk is touchdowns, home runs, dunks, and championships.

So, if it is sports you want; come on in and enjoy. If not I think Jerry Springer is sure to be on somewhere.
