I really don’t want to post every day on Brett Favre speculation, but this was too good: Kids at a Boys & Girls Club grilled Packers coach Mike McCarthy on whether the quarterback was returning.

Humor aside, it proves this truth the Packers have to face: If Favre wants to return to the NFL, the team better take him back, or legions of insane fans will never forgive McCarthy or Green Bay’s front office. That’s how much Favre is loved in Wisconsin. Besides, he is the best quarterback for the that team — there’s no sense building for the future when the team won 13 games last season and mostly everyone is back, except for a certain QB. If that certain QB wants to return, the Packers better roll out the red carpet.
