After I posted on my blog with Friday’s job opportunity news, I had my hopes swept out from under me just about as fast…  After them finaggling me with setting me up with pre-employment training and a drug test, they called me back and said…well, we ended up hiring someone else.  I guess the lesson is - don’t count your chickens before you’re working the first day!  Their problem was that they were sticking to only a full-time position and I was telling them 30 hours max because my graduate work is 1st priority, but it was a contract job to meet a deadline and I told them it wouldn’t be a problem, but whatever they want.  Guess that just means I’ll have more time to catfish and bowfish this summer!!!
