I’m sitting here in Spruce Pine, NC, preparing for a talk at the QDM workshop tomorrow and realized that I had a rare opportunity.  I had my old personal laptop up and running and I’ve got a lot of neat pictures on here that I haven’t transferred to my current computer…so, here’s a starter. 

Three or 4 Octobers ago, I was leaving my morning archery stand when I stumbled across this snake.  When I looked closer I thought that I had uncovered the ‘missing link’ but soon realized what I was looking at.  Needless to say, even if you are scared to death of snakes, there isn’t much this guy could do to you with a frog stuffed down his throat.  I thought it was a great shot and has definitely produced a few laughs over the past couple of years.
