Realtree Article - Lunchtime Bucks

Worked on a couple of more articles for Realtree’s Whitetailology website and one popped up today. It focuses on hunting the midday during the pre-rut. Again, this is not campfire theories - this is hard data pulled from GPS collars on adult bucks at Chesapeake Farms, Maryland. I think you guys and gals will enjoy this one!

Deer movement is starting to pick up in Gaston County. Since 10/16, I have been getting some pics of mature bucks moving during the daylight hours…. 10AM, 2PM, etc. The only time I’ve hunted since then all I saw was a pretty stupid looking 3-pointer though. Looking forward to next week. I will be hunting/filming for Appalachian Outdoors Television with CountyLine Outfitters near Zanesville, OH. http://www.countyline-outfitters.com/
