This is the newest, latest Realtree article that I wrote with buddy Colter Chitwood (one of 2 friends now made famous on the blog for his doe slaying agenda in 2008).  It basically discusses what nutrients and minerals are involved with antler growth and some interesting facts about how fast antlers are capable of sprouting out of a deer’s head.  A couple very general management tips are also included on how best to increase the available nutrients and protein on your own property.
