New Fabric Converter To Enter Outdoor Market

Columbia, SC – 8 TEX, L.L.C. announces the launch of a new fabric converter company, specializing in basic and performance fabric products for the outdoor industry with a focus on Mossy Oak Brand Camouflage fabrics.

8 TEX, L.L.C. will be headquartered in Columbia, SC with sourcing and technical offices in Shanghai, China and Taipei, Taiwan.

8 Tex, L.L.C. has roots that extend to the original Springs Industries founded in 1887 in Fort Mill, SC. The new company is a partnership between one of the founding family members of Springs Industries, Derick S. Close – owner of Springs Creative Products and Louie L. Harrison, the founder and CEO of Scene Weaver, L.L.C.

Through these two individuals, the new company will bring over 120 years plus of experience and innovation to the fabric and outdoor industry. Leveraging their unique supply and retail market experience will allow 8 TEX, L.L.C. to meet the customers supply needs with unparalleled quality, technical knowledge and customer service that will be second to none.

8Tex began operations in late August and is currently prepared to competitively address any opportunity.
