September 29, 2009
Trophy Bag Kooler products introduced at Grapevine, Texas store.
Bethany, OK – September 28th, 2009. After being available at Bass Pro Shop Online for only a few weeks, products from Trophy Bag Kooler, LLC are making it onto Bass Pro shelves in Grapevine, Texas.
According to company President Steven Glass, “We are excited about getting our product onto Bass Pro Shop shelves and hope that more stores will soon follow suit. Our Trophy Bag Kooler™ and The Game Fresh System™ are rapidly gaining popularity both in online sales and at smaller retail outlets. We feel that as sportsmen learn more about our product both through Brad Lockwood, the award winning processor and host of OutDoor Edge Knives, Love of the Hunt TV Show and from hunters nationwide using the products in the field, they are realizing what a great system we have. We are both excited and honored with our association with Bass Pro Shops.”
The Trophy Bag Kooler™ lets hunters put their harvested game into a cooler bag that can be cooled down to 36 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit with our KoolerGel™ or bagged ice. Keeping your harvest cool will also ensure that the animal will be ready for the taxidermist by preventing slippage of hair on the hide. In addition, the Trophy Bag Kooler™ will help prevent flies and others bugs from getting to the animal. The Trophy Bag Kooler™ is uniquely designed with an innovative Thermal Radiant Barrier Energy Shield that has antimicrobial properties which provides added protection to prevent the growth of mold, mildew and bacteria. The bag cleans-up easily with soap and water. The bag is constructed out of a durable polyester outer shell and comes in Mossy Oak Break-Up, Mossy Oak Brush and RealTree APHD camouflage patterns. Two sizes are available, Regular for small bucks, does, and antelope up to 140 pounds, and Large for bucks over 140 pounds and a quarter bag for larger game, such as elk and moose.

Mossy Oak Duck Blind Camo on Browning Transitions Series Apparel For 2009
July 16, 2009
MORGAN, UT – With Browning’s introduction of the Transitions Series line of apparel in 2008, getting the most out of layering became easier to understand and more effective than ever before for big game hunters. For 2009, Browning will expand the Transitions Series to now include garments designed to the specific needs of waterfowl hunters. Base layer, insulation layer and protection layer garments will all be offered in Mossy Oak Duck Blind.
The Transitions Series was created out of necessity with three primary objectives: to do more with less by eliminating weight and bulk while improving performance, to be backpack friendly by placing pockets where they can be easily accessed when wearing a pack, and to revitalize the time-proven concept of layering.
Waterfowl season places great demands on what hunters wear to stay dry, warm and comfortable. Transitions Series apparel from Browning will allow the waterfowl hunter to adapt to varying weather conditions: warm and humid, cold and rainy or anything in between. Lightweight fleece, 700 Fill Power Down, Gore-Tex and Browning Pre-Vent fabrics will be featured in the new Transitions Series Waterfowl apparel for 2009.
Base layer garments in the Transitions Waterfowl category will include the new Endurance Fleece that is designed to maximize warmth while minimizing bulk. The stretchy new material moves with the wearer, offering unrestricted mobility and protection from cold. An Endurance Fleece Quarter-Zip pullover, wader pant, Comfort Fleece shirt and pant will give hunters plenty of options in the base layer category.
In the Transitions insulation layer category Browning will offer a new Windcutter™ pullover, Windcutter hooded pullover, Windcutter vest and Windcutter hooded vest. Browning Windcutter is a waterfowl soft shell three-layer, four-way stretch laminated fabric with an abrasion-resistant and highly water-resistant polyester outer face. The middle layer consists of Windcutter laminate that blocks wind and provides water-resistance in all but the most extreme weather, and the inner layer is a soft fleece.
Browning will offer the new 4X Microfleece in the Transitions Insulation category that will include a 4X Microfleece jacket and vest. Both feature a highly constructed microfiber fabric that is wind-resistant and extremely quiet in a backpack friendly design. In addition, Browning will offer the 700 Fill Power Down jacket and vest that provides maximum warmth with the least weight and bulk. The shell is a high tread count, down-proof fabric that assures optimum loft and compactness.
In the Transitions protection layer category, Browning will introduce the new Maxus Gore-Tex jacket, Wing-Set jacket and Gore-Tex Paclite Half-Zip pullover that will give the waterfowl hunter the latest in soft-shell technology. The Gore-Tex Paclite fabric provides waterproof protection in a lightweight nylon fabric.

Leupold Introduces New Northfork Binocular Line
June 3, 2009
Company’s First Slim Hinge Design
BEAVERTON, OR- Leupold has combined premium features and advanced optical performance with a sleek, single-hinge design in its newest line of binoculars, the Northfork Series.
The binoculars’ futuristic design incorporates a single, slim hinge near the eyecups – similar to an open-bridge style without a hinge near the objective lenses. This configuration allows for an increased level of comfort and ergonomics since both hands can wrap around the barrels.
“The design of the Northfork makes them very comfortable to operate for extended periods in the field,” said Mike Slack, Leupold’s marketing communications manager. “Observationists get premium quality and image clarity at a mid-level price.”
The Northfork line features 45mm objective lenses and Super High Reflection prism enhancement. Combined with a fully multi-coated lens system and additional anti-reflection coatings on the BAK4 prisms, the binoculars provide hunters with a sharp, bright image in virtually any light or weather condition. The Northfork’s long eye relief makes them ideal for any hunter with or without eyeglasses. With a close focus of less than 10 feet and an angular field of view of more than six degrees, the Northfork is versatile enough to meet the needs of everyone from backyard birders to hardcore naturalists.
Models available include 8.5×45mm or 10.5×45mm with either black or Mossy Oak Break-Up armor coating. The binoculars include a case, padded-edge neoprene neck strap, and eyepiece and objective lens covers. The Northfork is protected by the Leupold Green Ring Limited Lifetime Warranty.

May 22, 2009
FREEPORT, ME – L.L.Bean has designed a comfortable lumbar pack for gunners and bow hunters that adapts to a variety of hunts and conditions. This large-volume pack carries all the essentials for a full day in the field without shifting, sagging or bouncing. Weatherproof fabric in Mossy Oak Break-Up protects your gear and won’t snag or make noise as you move through the woods.
A double-padded, curved hip belt and yoke-style shoulder harness transfer weight evenly between the hips and shoulders. A lightweight stabilizer rod helps lift the load and tilt the pack towards your body for more control. The harness has built-in binocular attachments, eliminating the pressure of a strap against your neck while keeping your optics handy. It also has an optional back accessory pouch.
Pockets on the belt keep frequently-used items, like GPS, two-way radio, flashlight and more within easy reach. The belt also has loops for ammo for quick reloads. Sixteen gear-specific pockets offer a total organization system. They include a generous main compartment, a call management pocket that’s fully padded with stretch loops for a variety of calls, a spill proof scent pocket and a water bottle holder. Hunters can use the belt to secure the pack to a tree while in a stand. The harness is designed for easy, quiet entry while in treestand or blind. Additional web compression straps and lash loops hold extra layers or bedroll for extended trips.
