The DLC Covert SG550 and the Covert II cameras each utilize a 5MP CMOS sensor to capture
high quality daytime and night time pictures. High Intensity, Infra Red LED’s are used to avoid spooking
game at night. Video capability up to a 640×480 resolution adds another option to the system allowing
owners to get detail that still photos often miss.

Other advantages with Covert cameras include a lightning-fast trigger speed – 1.2 seconds; ultra
low standby current which results in superior battery life (on average, 8 “AA” batteries provide
over four thousand photos); large memory capacity – use up to 2GB SD cards for data storage.
The SG550 has several programmable parameters including sensitivity, picture size, delay, video
length, and time-lapse capability. The Covert II has extra features, in addition to those found on
the SG550 – side opening case, extra Infra-Red LEDs for greater range and dispersion angle, and
a sun/rain shield over the camera’s lens and PIR sensor. Maybe best of all – these cameras are
small, fitting into the palm of your hand. Their size, combined with rugged cases and thoughtful
