    Then a nice buck stuck his head out…

     

    Then the BIG Guy stepped out…

     

    but not for long….

      Man, that guy is a toad! I hope you can drop him this fall – or at least get some good photos of him full grown. This should be a whopper! Heck, it’s already a dandy of a buck!

      I’m guessing Northern Cal starts antler growth a little earlier than we do? I don’t know that…it just seems that there is no way a buck would have that much horn showing already over here! That’s awesome. I look forward to more photos!
