Goldtip woes
Since moving their production to mexico, goldtip quality has been lacking. After a year of not being able to get shafts we can now get plenty, but the quality is not what it once was.
Their shafts have been coming out not even close to being straight and of different diameters, so out of whack that you cant even get the inserts in because the shaft is too small. Goldtip was known for being a really tough arrow, but since prodution moved south of the border they have not been holding up near as well as they used to. They have lost their consistency even with the pro series shafts that I have been getting, their weights have been all over the place with large swings in total weight.
In my opinion I would stay away from goldtip until the quality iimproves and stick with american made beman and easton or use carbon express.
