I had a customer last night wanting a fast bow at a light draw weight, I wasnt at the shop so I couldnt help Cari out. So today I did a little testing to get the velocity of some 60lb bows set at 55lbs shooting a 280gr Goldtip ultralite arrow. All the bows were set at the same weight and had a 29″ draw length except the Diamond Liberty which was a 30″ as I had no 29″ mod for it. The results are as follows with a 5 shot average on the speeds through my ProChrono.

Hoyt Vetrix 297fps

Bowtech Gaurdian 290fps

Diamond liberty (30″) 293fps

Mathews Drenalin 292fps

Evotek American hunter 263fps

Evotek Impact 263 fps (yes they had the same speed and is not a typo)

I also got my hand on a 70lb 29″ Evotek Stalker today and it shot 290 @65lb with a 330gr Lightspeed 400.
