Yesterday was no surprise. Raise your hand if you were stunned by yesterday’s outcome? If so why? What else should we expect from a season that started with App State knocking off Michigan.

Sadly, in what has been a great season comes down to a few votes, a pr machineÂ and a decision between LSU, Oklahoma and USC. This is like ending a great action movie with the two enemies hugging at the end and walking off in the sunset.

Come on NCAA get a playoff, because how can you look at all the teams out there and say, great season, but now go play your exhibition game!

Miles the Next Coach at Michigan

ESPN is claiming Les Miles will be named Michigan coach next week. I haven’t found any links to the story as of now.

What Happens if Miles Goes North?

If Les Miles moves to Ann Arbor the effects could be very interesting. The rumor mill says the Miles deal is almost done, what does this mean for LSU?

A couple of thoughts/rumors have Nick Saban coming back to LSU. That seems a bit far fetched, but with Nick anything can/has happened. The more likelyÂ possibility for Tiger fans seeking a big name is Steve Spurier, yes the old ball coach. Like Lou Holtz, Spurrier is finding South Carolina a tough place to win.

The last name that seems logical is Gary Pinkel of Missouri. If not for Missouri still playing for a national title, his name would probably be coming up a lot more for both the LSU and Michigan jobs.
