We had passed up over ten bucks those three days trying to kill this monster. On November 1st my dad had left his bow home and didn’t realize it untill he got to Trappe, the buck was chasing a doe all around our stand for 3 hours with nothing to do but take pictures. On November 29th we decided to go after him agian with seeing some nice 8 pointers we decided to pass them up hoping we’d see him, the ten pointer never came out. On December the 1st me and my dad and my uncle bj went and sat in the stand, we had seen a couple doe and right behind them came out the big buck at 40 yards eating on our corn pile, I put the cross hares right on him and shot, he ran about 50 yards and we never seen him fall, we got down out of the stand and went to find him but didnt see any hair or blood. Luckly we seen some leav es kicked up and there he was laying. Finally all the waitng and passing up smaller bucks was worth it! It was all my dad and my uncle Bj could do to drag the deer 50 yards, we had to pull the truck all the way into the woods to get him in the truck.
