Deer Season is all said and done for me until 2008 rolls around
Well my season is over and done with for this year so now I can start to work on next season, LOL.
Unfortunately I was sick for most of deer season this year but, fortunately I was able to tag one on opening day of shotgun season so it wasn’t a total loss. I can only look at it this way and that is at least I have plenty of time to get my health straightened out so when next season rolls around than I can hit it like a freight train.
I will still try to do the deer sightings from time to time partly because it is nice to read and still keeps you updated as to where and when they are around. I do have to say that I spent the last morning of muzzleloader season playing with my 5 year old son before getting him ready for school, the quality time was priceless.
I know the feeling. My season is pretty much over as well. Oh well. We can both start looking forward to next year.
Time with the son, though it’s hard to admit, is definitely better than hunting. I can’t wait til I have kids.

Arthur, Yes I am already looking forward to next season but, I am going to enjoy the extra time with my son. You can’t beat that.
