Turkey federation is still focused

The article I believe describes that even when there is wavering in the ranks due to a change on the structure that it is and still is performing the job it has set out to do. In my opinion that is the sign of a great organization. I only hope that they can iron out the differences that have come to the general public’s eye.

There’s been a great deal of conjecture lately about the National Wild Turkey Federation in Edgefield, S.C. Granted, anytime an organization undergoes a change, some questions are warranted, and it’s no different with the NWTF and its recent changes. It would be, however, a huge mistake to assume that there has been a change in the NWTF’s mission. Nothing could be further from the truth.

As an employee of the federation, I’ve witnessed an amazing phenomenon among my co-workers here. Instead of standing by to see what’s going to happen next, they have redoubled their efforts to make sure operations continue to work at peak efficiency. Chapter fund raising banquets throughout the country continue to be held on schedule, and deadlines have been routinely met. We are still serving all of our commitments to not only the wild turkey and preserving America’s hunting heritage, but also to providing the support necessary to keep this important work ongoing for future generations.

I do hope that they iron out their differences as well. I think the NWTF is a great organization and one that I would like to see continue to prosper.
