Morning Rain did not stop the Turkey’s
Just a quick post to let you see a couple of pictures that Heidi took from our car as we were leaving the New England Air Museum. It was a very overcast morning with light rain showers but, that did not stop this turkey from looking for something to eat.
What surprises me is that we practically pulled right up next to it with the car and it didn’t run away. The two pictures were taken without any zoom what so ever.
And had it been hunting season…..they would have been long gone!
Isn’t that the way it goes, though….kinda funny, I think! Great pictures - I always love to get close to wildlife!

I was just thinking the same thing. I had a similar encounter last weekend when I went to check my trail cam. Of course, they were nowhere to be found when turkey season was on.
Nice hen in the picture though.

Tom, don’t you know it. If it was hunting season I would not have gotten that close.
Arthur, thanks for stopping by. I was a little surprised when it did not run off. I always keep a 35mm camera in my truck and Heidi usually has hers with her.
